How long have you been a member at CrossFit Morgantown?

I have been a member for 3 months

 

Why did you join?

A couple of members invited me (Lauren & Justin) and I figured I would give it a try. I had heard so much about CrossFit but had never had a chance to try it. The workouts are all challenging, and the coaching we receive even in a big class still is personal which is helpful and keeps me motivated.

 

What do you love most about CFM? / What keeps you coming back each month?

The best part about CrossFit Morgantown is the challenge. A regular gym workout just doesn’t push me to become better. The workouts at CFM have challenged me each day with the workout being different every class.

4)  What is your current occupation? And/or what are some hobbies, clubs, groups, or activities you participate in?   

I’m currently self-employed. I own and operate Get Fit Juices and Shakes in Suncrest and Cheat lake, two sports bars (4th & Goal and Scorers Sports Bar & Restaurant) and am involved in real estate. I am also involved in BNI and several charitable organizations.

 

5)  Who inspires you? 

My biggest influences are the individuals in my BNI chapter. BNI consists of like-minded business owners. We have been able to form a think tank to help each other and the community.

 

6)  How has improved fitness impacted your life? 

Fitness for me is a stress reliever. Being a business owner presents a different challenge every day and fitness helps allow me to relieve the stresses of the day-to-day.

 

7)  What’s one thing – either fitness related or not – you learned in the last month?

The biggest thing I’ve learned during this time dealing with COVID-19 is to be prepared for the unexpected! When relating that to fitness, the only move that defeats you is the one you don’t prepare for.

 

8)  What would you say to someone you love to encourage them to try out CFM?
