“Everyone that I have met has treated me like family. Everyone is so supportive as they are cheering you on throughout the workouts.”
How long have you been a member at Community Fitness of Morgantown?
I have been a member a little over a year.
Why did you join?
I had wanted to join for a while. My wife’s cousin, a former member Chad Annon, joined and he told me how hard but fun it was and I finally caved. I was hooked! I wish I would have joined a long time ago!
What do you love most about Community Fitness of Morgantown? / What keeps you coming back each month?
The people for sure! Everyone that I have met has treated me like family. Everyone is so supportive as they are cheering you on throughout the workouts. The coaching is awesome! Programming of workouts is awesome! The atmosphere in the gym is awesome! The question is, why wouldn’t you come back?
“The coaching is awesome! Programming of workouts is awesome! The atmosphere in the gym is awesome!”
What is your current occupation? And/or what are some hobbies, clubs, groups, or activities you participate in?
I am a mechanic at Pratt & Whitney engine services in Bridgeport, where we overhaul and repair corporate jet engines. I enjoy riding bikes, fishing, building pillow forts, taking four wheeler rides, and pretty much anything that involves my wife and kids.
Who inspires you?
My father is the one who inspires me the most. He has been a minister my entire life. His faithfulness to God is overwhelming to me. He lives everyday telling everyone he meets about Jesus, and what He has done for us!
How has improved fitness impacted your life?
Going to the gym not only has helped my physical fitness, but it also helps the mental battles I face on a day to day basis. “Though I am in the storm, the storm is not in me!” That’s what CFM does for me.
What’s one thing – either fitness related or not – you learned in the last month?
In the last month I have had to relearn PATIENCE, thanks COVID-19! Virtual school is going to be the death of me!
What would you say to someone you love to encourage them to try out CFM?
Everyone should try it! You can make it as easy or as hard as you want! When you leave you feel accomplished!
