Why did you join?
Mike Charlton. He kept talking about CFM. I was looking for something different. Showed up to CFM and have been hooked ever since.
What do you love most about CrossFit Morgantown? / What keeps you coming back each month?
I love everything about CFM. The coaches, the members, and the workouts. It is great to be at a gym where members have the same goals in common. And if you have a question the only thing you must do is ask. There is a lot of talent and experience at CFM.

What is your current occupation? And/or what are some hobbies, clubs, groups, or activities you participate in?
I am retired, but still work for the Morgantown PD. Well, besides CFM, there is hunting, fishing, woodworking, music, and the beach.
Who inspires you?
My Grandfather. Even though he passed away years ago I still remember the lessons he taught me. Most of them were good, but on occasion he would teach me what not to do. LOL
How has improved fitness impacted your life?
It has given me the ability to keep doing the things I love to do. Whether that is spending time with my family playing music, or traveling.
What’s one thing – either fitness related or not – you learned in the last month?
Never give up! The members and coaches at CFM give you all the support and encouragement you need. Get your mind right, remember what you have been taught, and go for it.
What would you say to someone you love to encourage them to try out CFM?
Take the step and try it. You might be nervous at first because it is something new. But, in the long run you will reap the rewards.
