1. How long have you been a member at CFM?
– I have been a member of CFM for 6 months.

2. Why did you join?
– My husband and I joined CCFM because we heard wonderful things about them. CFM’s mission for Fitness and Community is something that we really relate to. We also have Fit Couple Goals.

3. What do you love most about CFM? What keeps you coming back each month?
– I like how warm and welcoming it is. At every class everyone is friendly and inviting. The coaches have been amazing as well. We are also looking forward to the community events to grow closer connections.

4. What is your current occupation? What are some hobbies, clubs, groups, or activities you participate in?
– I am a Trauma Therapist. Fitness and Family are my passions. I love my Peloton, running, hiking, biking, and visiting the Gulf Coast with my family. Most recently, I’ve added student to my activities as I am going back to school to get my Doctorate in Psychology.

5. Who inspires you?
– My parents inspire me. They are both hard workers, have always put their family first, and have chased their dreams and achieved them. I hope to one day follow in their footsteps.

6. How has improved fitness impacted your life? Please provide an example of a result outside of the gym.
– Fitness is key to many areas of my life. It is a great stress reliever in my day which boosts my mental health. Two examples are being strong enough to Hulk all the groceries into the house for our large family and completing a half marathon with very little training other than CrossFit and some running.

7. What’s one thing- either fitness related or not- you learned in the last month?
– I am learning to not be afraid of weights. I have always been a cardio junkie and have been trying to increase my use of weights to stay strong as I get older. I am slowly learning things I would have never done like jerk, snatch, toes to bar, etc.

8. What would you say to someone you love to encourage them to try out CFM?
