Division Standards & Expectations –
This year’s Burden Games will once again offer a team competition with Rx and Scaled Divisions. There is also an added Master’s Division for participants that are 35 years old and over. As always, the workouts will not be released until the day of the competition. Prepare for anything, prepare for everything!
What Division is best for you?
This year, movement and load protocols from the CrossFit Open will be used as the competition standards. If you compete as a scaled athlete in the Open, it is suggested that you register as a scaled athlete in the Burden Games. Likewise, if you compete in the Rx Division of the Open, you are encouraged to compete in the Rx Division.
15.1 (Open Rx) 15.3 (Open Rx)

All workout prescriptions will be built within the appropriate parameters to meet the levels of the respective athlete Divisions.
The Master’s Division will feature a combination of the Master’s Open Rx and Master’s Open Scaled. The variation with be in movements, loads, and volume.
If you have a mixed team and want to compete in the Rx Division, that is acceptable, but at least one athlete should meet the standards of that Division.
